Joe's - George Foreman Grill Cooking

Joe's does not recommend using a George Foreman Grill to cook beef or pork products.

However, Joe's respects not everyone has a Jenn-Air style indoor grill.

Because the George Foreman Grill is designed to reduce fat by adding pressure with the weight of the upper surface, and drainage from the slanted lower surface, there is a substantial taste loss from reduced fat.

Follow the George Foreman Grill manufacturer's directions concerning cooking times.

George Foreman cooking time examples:

Joe's Extra Jumbo Shrimp:    3.5 minutes

Joe's King Salmon fillet:    6 - 7 minutes (approx 3/4 - 1" thick)

Joe's Premium Grind burger patties:  4.5 minutes (cook until juices flow clear)

Joe's Handmade Sausages:  10 - 14 minutes (cook until center is pinkish - grey)

Learn what temperatures/times equal the doneness levels you enjoy and adjust cooking time accordingly.

Remember, as with any meat, the cooking process will continue to cook AND rise in temperature for up to ten (10) minutes after the meat is removed from the cooking surface.

Serve and enjoy!
